Complaint Handler

Location: Belper, Derbyshire (On Site working)
Hours: Full-time, 39.5 hours per week

Shifts: Shifts between the hours of 8am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday, plus 1 Saturday morning per month
Salary: 28,479 + 1,500 annual bonus

Brook Street is working with a leading contact centre in Derbyshire to recruit experienced Complaint Handlers to join their growing team.



Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of customer complaints, ensuring successful resolutions and positive outcomes.

  • Investigate cases thoroughly using root-cause analysis, collaborating with internal departments to gather all necessary information.

  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and social media complaints-prioritising responses effectively while maintaining full case ownership.

  • Provide clear, professional written communication and regular updates to customers and internal stakeholders.



Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year's experience in complaint management or resolution.

  • GCSE grade 4/C in English and Maths (or equivalent) is essential.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
