Key Responsibilities:

  • Lesson Planning & Delivery: Develop and deliver engaging, creative lessons across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 in line with the curriculum.
  • Curriculum Design: Help shape a challenging and forward-thinking Computer Science curriculum.
  • Student Engagement: Motivate students through interactive lessons and extracurricular activities focused on technology.
  • Assessment: Track student progress, provide constructive feedback, and work with colleagues to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Continuous Development: Stay up to date with the latest trends in technology and Computer Science education to ensure the curriculum is relevant and effective.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Computer Science, ICT, or a related field.
  • Experience: Experience teaching Computer Science at Key Stage 4 and 5 (NQTs are welcome to apply).
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of Computer Science concepts including programming, algorithms, and databases.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire students.
