Shrewsbury area: Sales Advisor 

HBG Recruitment are working with an award-winning insurance company looking for a Sales Advisor who is interested to move into the insurance industry. Our client are seeking to expand their team by adding several experienced salespeople who have at least 3 years of proven sales experience.

Key Tasks for a Sales Advisor:

  • Punctuality and readiness to achieve KPIs.
  • Maintain a high work rate by building a pipeline through their dialler system.
  • Effectively manage the pipeline through their CRM system.
  • Demonstrate high attention to detail; able to read policy wordings and clearly outline terms to clients.
  • Exhibit excellent ability and accuracy when entering data into CRMs and portals.
  • Identify opportunities to generate leads from existing clients and cross-sell additional products where the main policy has gaps in coverage.
  • Work towards KPIs and self-motivate.

Key Skills for a Sales Advisor:

  • Ability to listen to and understand client demands and needs.
  • Capable of outlining policy features and benefits to generate action.
  • Skilled at asking open questions to gain a greater understanding of client businesses.
  • Strong communication skills, teamwork abilities, and a natural capacity to self-manage.
  • Dependable, honest, and compliant; they do not hard sell.
  • A desire to improve, receive training, and be open about weaknesses.

Company Structure: Sales Advisor
