Prospero Teaching are seeking a committed and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a small, single-sex independent faith secondary school in Salford. This part-time role is four days per week, starting in November 2025. You'll benefit from smaller class sizes and a welcoming, supportive environment.

The Role:
Position: English Teacher (Key Stage 3 & 4)
Start: November 2025
Contract: Part-time (4 days per week), Temp-to-Perm
Location: Salford
Pay: MPS1 TO UPS3 depending on experience

You will be teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4 to students of varying ability levels. The school promotes a strong culture of reading, writing, and critical thinking. You'll be expected to plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess progress, and contribute to a positive learning experience.

About You:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - ECTs and experienced teachers welcome
A degree in English or a related subject
Up-to-date safeguarding & Prevent training (or willingness to complete free training with us)
A passion for English literature and language, with a desire to inspire young learners
