We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the overall financial health of the organisation.

Duties

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with established guidelines.
Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
Conduct data entry tasks to update financial information in accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, or PeopleSoft.
Collaborate with the HR department to manage payroll and employee-related financial matters using HRIS or Workday systems.
Analyse financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support strategic planning.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in all accounting practices.
Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
Qualifications

Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role within finance.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, Zero
Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Familiarity with HRIS systems and human resources functions is an advantage.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
A relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
