Location: Bexley
Contract: Full-time, term time only
Salary: 85-110 per day

About the School:
We are working on behalf of a welcoming 3-form entry primary school in Bexley, committed to providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all children. The school prides itself on fostering inclusivity, and a love of learning.

The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join the team and provide high-quality support to children with additional learning needs. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children, helping them reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) both individually and in small groups
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering differentiated learning activities
  • Deliver interventions to those struggling academically or socially.
  • Help with classroom management and behaviour support
  • Monitor and report on pupils' progress and development
  • Support pupils' social and emotional development

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN preferred (Autism, ADHD, etc)
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable but not essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
