Our client as a well established law firm based in North Kent and they are recruiting for a Commercial Property Solicitor with at least 1 year PQE. 

The successful applicant will act for a diverse range of clients, handling non-contentious commercial matters primarily related to property. This includes freehold acquisitions and disposals, commercial leasehold transactions, site acquisitions and development, and secured lending with close liaison with financial institutions. Additionally, the role involves dealing with business sales and purchases and some limited residential property matters.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage non-contentious commercial property matters including freehold acquisitions, disposals, and commercial leasehold transactions.
  • Handle site acquisitions, development projects, and secured lending, ensuring close liaison with financial institutions.
  • Deal with business sales and purchases.
  • Occasionally handle residential property matters.
  • Manage own caseload efficiently to meet tight deadlines and targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 1 year PQE.
  • IT literate.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage own caseload and meet tight deadlines and targets.
  • Some experience within residential conveyancing is desirable.
