Our client are a well established law firm based in North Kent and they are recruiting for a Conveyancing Specialist experienced in managing a high-volume caseload of conveyancing matters.

This role involves handling Sales & Purchases of Freehold and Leasehold properties, Re-mortgages, and Transfers of Equity. Familiarity with New Build Transactions and Shared Ownership Schemes is desirable. The ideal candidate will be IT literate, proficient with Case Management Systems, and experienced in using the Land Registry Portal.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage a high-volume caseload of conveyancing matters efficiently.
  • Handle Sales & Purchases of Freehold and Leasehold properties, Re-mortgages, and Transfers of Equity.
  • Engage with New Build Transactions and Shared Ownership Schemes.
  • Utilise Case Management Systems and the Land Registry Portal effectively.
  • Maintain calm under pressure and meet critical deadlines.
  • Support and mentor less senior members of the department.
  • Collaborate within a team environment to ensure smooth operation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in handling a high-volume caseload of conveyancing matters.
  • Familiarity with Sales & Purchases of Freehold and Leasehold properties, Re-mortgages, and Transfers of Equity.
  • Exposure to New Build Transactions and Shared Ownership Schemes is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in IT and Case Management Systems.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy caseload.
  • Cooperative and helpful attitude within a team environment.
  • Diligent and conscientious approach to work.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm with a one-hour break for lunch and is 100% office based.
