Our client a local company are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to support their growth. Working across 3 sites you will be key in ensuring the company can run efficiently. Supporting with all maintenance and repairs as required, you will be working with two other engineers and reporting to the Maintenance Manager.

The company are dedicated to providing outstanding products and service to all their clients. Based in Bicester the hours of work will consist of 08:00-17:00 Monday to Friday. You must be willing to work out of hours and on weekends to support business needs.

Duties of the role:

Complete maintenance of machinery across all sites.

Attend daily meetings at 8am to receive briefing for the day.

Answer phone calls and emails from departments providing support or taking on a task.

Support the training of new employees and ensure safe use of equipment.

Monitor equipment and keep up to date records on excel and the online system.

Schedule and plan lubrication programmes for machinery.

Complete risk assessments prior to commencement of maintenance.

Conduct routine checks, preventative maintenance and maintenance inspections.

Actively respond to breakdowns.

Take responsibility for quality and safety of product following repairs made.

Manage your tasks effectively and prioritise based upon need and impact.

Maintain correct hygiene standards.

Liaise with departments regarding required maintenance.

Personal Attributes:

Qualified to level NVQ level 3 in an engineering discipline

Understanding of engineering covering both mechanical and electrical

Experience in food manufacturing

Strong health and safety understanding

Be proactive and willing to learn with good attention to detail

Adapt to the variety of the role and work to a timely manner.

General plumbing knowledge would also be advantageous but is not essential.

This varied role is a great opportunity for a skilled engineer to join a growing company, offering full training and a salary of up to £42,500 per annum and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
