The Role

The role of General Manager will play a pivotal role of curating the customer journey, elevating sales figures and to expand the brand's influence.

Responsibilities of this General Manager position -

  • Oversees daily store operations along with the activities of the sales team, fostering a proactive approach to product promotion and sales.
  • Ensures customer service by catering to client service level.
  • Ensures the delivery of exceptional post-sales service to our clients.
  • Comp shopping and analysis to optimise sales and surpass predefined objectives and targets.
  • Achieves elevated individual and store performance indicators (such as conversion rates, items per transaction, and dollar per transaction).
  • Ensures strict adherence to established policies and procedures.
  • Trains and mentors store staff comprehensively, overseeing and supervising their training (including areas of performance management).
  • Manages the store's schedule & time keeping of staff members
  • Actively recruits and engages in networking to secure exceptionally skilled team members, while also cultivating a robust talent pool of potential candidates.
  • Executes store merchandising as per visual guidelines and ensures the consistent upkeep and prime condition of all inventories.

To be successful in this General Manager position-

  • Ideally having experience as store manager within premium or luxury retail
  • 3-4 years leadership experience in a Store, Assistant or Deputy Manager level.
  • A genuine passion for luxury, travel, fashion, and lifestyle markets
  • Outlet experience will be highly desirable
  • Have strong 121 client /customer experience
  • Excellent communicational skills.
  • Strong IT /Excel skills would be advantageous.
  • Proven success in attaining sales targets and excelling in key performance indicators.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within London for trainig
  • Occasional international travel a few times a year if required.
  • Strong people management skillset including being involved in disciplinaries and performance management.
