Head Chef - Exclusive Family Run Coastal Hotel - North Devon - £45K + Attractive Bonus

A rare opportunity for a talented chef to lead the team in this beautifully maintained Hotel serving exceptional dishes from fresh locally sourced ingredients. Our clients current menu's offer a variety of modern and traditional British style fine dining dishes with Classic French influence. This position might suit a Head and Sous Chef team!

Responsibilities Include:
  • Designing Preparing and cooking dishes in liaison with your team
  • Understanding the business model .
  • General leadership & communication skills
  • Running and maintaining your kitchen station to a high standard.
  • Purchasing ordering, stock rotation, and requisitions.
  • Delivering an industry standard Gp %
  • Ensuring deliveries are stored correctly and on time.
  • Leading with ideas and input to seasonal and changing menus.
  • Delivering efficient service without compromising on quality.
  • Monitoring portion control to reduce waste.
  • Upholding all Health & Safety and Food Safety standards.
  • Supporting and working closely with other chefs and front-of-house staff to deliver a great guest experience.

What Were Looking For
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to deliver perform.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high standards.
  • Good communication delegation and teamwork skills.
  • A neat and tidy appearance with excellent personal hygiene.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing menus and work situations.
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Or progression from sous.
  • Passion for using fresh, quality ingredients to create memorable dishes.
