Electrician

A fantastic opportunity has come up for a qualified and experienced Electrician to join a growing team based in Billingham. This role is ideal for someone who takes real pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, and is committed to working safely and to a high standard across a variety of environments.

What you’ll be doing:

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, systems, and equipment
• Carrying out minor new installations and electrical testing
• RCD testing, emergency lighting checks, and fire alarm maintenance
• Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving electrical faults
• Ensuring all work complies with current regulations and safety standards
• Using a range of hand and power tools to complete jobs efficiently
• Working closely with other trades on-site to keep projects running smoothly
• Carrying out regular inspections to spot any potential issues
• Keeping clear and accurate records of work completed and materials used

What we’re looking for:

• A proven track record working as an Electrician (or similar role)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and Test & Inspection qualifications (essential)
• Solid knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods, and health & safety
• Experience with general and clean room lighting systems
• Confident using hand and power tools relevant to the trade
• A problem-solver with great attention to detail
• Good communication skills and a team-player mindset
• Relevant electrical certifications
