Responsibilities and duties of the Domestic Electrician role

Reporting to the Qualified Supervisor, you will:

Install extractor fans and general electrical components in domestic properties with attention to safety and compliance.
Carry out wiring for Solar PV panels and Air Source Heat Pumps to specification, as required.
Deliver high standards of workmanship and customer service on-site.
Travel to customer sites across the North East, North West, and Yorkshire.
Maintain a safe and compliant working environment in line with health and safety regulations.
Accurately document and report work completed for audit and regulatory compliance.

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

Mandatory:

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
AM2 Assessment
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
C&G 2391-52 - Initial & Periodic Inspection & Testing
ECS Gold Card

Desirable:

C&G 2399-13/14 or LCL Level 3 in Solar PV Installation
LCL Level 3 in ASHP Installation (Non-refrigerant)
WRAS Water Regulations & Part L
Competent Person Scheme (e.g. NICEIC, NAPIT)
MCS certified
