What You'll Do:

  • Support young people with their individual care plans, ensuring their unique needs are met.
  • Collaborate with families, social workers, and other agencies to provide a wrap-around support system for each young person.
  • Safeguard the wellbeing and safety of the young people in your care, making sure everything you do aligns with the necessary legislative and procedural guidelines.
  • Play a key role in developing and reviewing care, health, and education plans, ensuring young people's needs are at the heart of everything.
  • Create a positive, nurturing environment where every young person can grow, develop, and feel included.


Who You Are:

  • You understand the diverse developmental needs of young people, from physical to emotional, intellectual to social.
  • You're knowledgeable about Child Protection procedures and the role of Social Care services.
  • A compassionate, empathetic team player, you thrive on building meaningful relationships and working collaboratively.
  • You bring flexibility and resilience to your role, able to support both the young people in your care and your colleagues with a positive attitude.
  • You're committed to promoting the safety, well-being, and rights of young people in all aspects of your work.
