Greenwell Gleeson is recruiting a Financial Controller for a growing manufacturing business in Birmingham.
The role requires a fully qualified ACA/ACCA with experience in producing management accounts and managing a small team.
Key responsibilities include preparing management accounts, cash flow forecasting, and liaising with auditors during the year-end process.
The position offers a competitive salary of £70,000, depending on experience.
Candidates with ERP knowledge and strong Excel skills are preferred, along with excellent communication abilities.

On an exclusive basis, greenwellgleeson are recruiting for a Financial Controller to work with a growing manufacturing business based in Birmingham.

Reporting into the CFO, duties of the role will include:

Timely and accurate Management accounts preparation, providing analysis and commentary
Managing and developing a small team, leading on reviews, queries etc
Sales and profit analysis
Daily, weekly cashflow forecasting
Preparation of Reporting Board Pack
Production of statutory accounts
Liaising with auditors for year end process
Tax pack preparation
Any other ad hoc finance duties

Skills, Requirements, Qualifications

Fully Qualified ACA/ ACCA
Would suit a first mover from a top 20 firm
Technical accountant with experience producing management accounts
ERP knowledge would be useful
Strong Excel skills
Strong communicator and stakeholder management
