I'm currently partnering with a growing and forward-thinking business in North Birmingham who are looking to appoint a Group Management Accountant to strengthen their finance function. This is a full-time, office-based role with real breadth and visibility - ideal for someone who enjoys end-to-end ownership and wants to be part of a growth journey. Salary is up to £50,000 depending on experience, and QBE, part qualified, or qualified candidates are invited to apply.

The business is going through a period of sustained expansion, EBITDA growth is forecast to accelerate significantly through FY26, driven by both organic development and targeted strategy. For the right person, this is a fantastic time to come on board - not only to make an impact day-to-day, but also to grow alongside the business as it scales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of full management accounts for multiple entities from start to finish

  • Assisting with group-level reporting and consolidation

  • Supporting with payroll processing and related finance admin

  • Month-end duties including journals, accruals, and prepayments

  • Variance analysis and commentary for senior stakeholders

  • Maintaining strong financial controls and supporting year-end audit processes

About You:
  • You'll need to be confident in preparing a full set of management accounts independently

  • A proactive, organised approach with great attention to detail

  • Experience supporting payroll processes would be a distinct advantage

  • You could be fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA), part-qualified, or qualified by experience - what matters most is your capability and attitude

  • Strong Excel skills and a willingness to get stuck in
