We are seeking a Management Accountant to join an exciting small accountancy practice firm. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys working within a team, and is looking for a part-time opportunity. The successful candidate will be instrumental in providing accurate financial information and analysis, which will support strategic decision-making across the firm.
Day-to-day of the role:- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements, including accruals and prepayments.
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Implement and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
- Handle bookkeeping responsibilities, including preparing accounts and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Liaise with managerial staff and other colleagues.
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant, Bookkeeper or similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Xero would be desirable.
- Flexible working hours with an early finish on a Friday.
