Our client, a growing and forward-thinking business, is looking for a Systems Accountant to join their finance team. This role is ideal for a qualified accountant with a passion for systems and technology. You'll bridge the gap between finance and IT, help drive automation, enhance reporting through Power BI, and play a key role in the optimisation of finance systems and data integrity.

Key responsibilities of the Systems Accountant:-
Act as the key link between finance and IT, ensuring finance systems support the team's operational needs.

Develop and maintain reporting dashboards in Power BI to provide insights and support decision-making.

Provide financial systems support to finance users, ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency.

Drive automation initiatives across transactional and reporting processes.

Work with stakeholders to analyse data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Maintain integrity of the financial data within ERP systems and reporting tools.

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified

Proficiency in Power BI, and strong Excel and data manipulation skills

Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, etc.)

Confident communicator with the ability to influence both finance and non-finance stakeholders
