Key Responsibilities of the Licenced Aircraft Engineer (LAE B2 737 - E7 Wedgetail) Role:
- Supervise a team of skilled avionics technicians, ensuring detailed inspections are carried out to the highest standards
- Coordinate tasks and contribute to the smooth execution of the production and modification program
- Serve as a key point of contact for all avionics-related aspects of the program, collaborating closely with the Avionics Lead SME
- Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance
- Provide mentorship and support to junior avionics personnel, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- CAA/EASA Part 66 B2 License
- Type rated on Boeing 737NG with a minimum of 10 years of aircraft experience
- Previous modification experience and excellent knowledge of avionics systems
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Eligible to work and live in the UK, with the ability to obtain UK security clearance
