Job Overview:
We are seeking an Installation Engineer to join a well-established company specializing in garage equipment installation. This role involves installing and commissioning a variety of garage equipment, including vehicle lifts, brake testers, and emissions testing systems, at customer sites across London.
This is a field-based role, working from home and covering a local area within London, ensuring minimal travel time. No stay-away is required, and the company values a strong work-life balance. Overtime is available but entirely voluntary, and all travel time is paid.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and commissioning of garage equipment at customer sites
- Testing and fault-finding to ensure proper equipment functionality
- Providing technical support and guidance to customers during installation
- Ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards
Requirements:
- Technical/engineering experience in a similar role
- Experience in maintenance, fault finding, and repair
- Strong communication skills with a good standard of written and spoken English
- Full UK driving license
Hours of Work:
- Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM (40 hours per week)
