Salary: 40,000 - 50,000

They are on the lookout for a Principal Designer to hit the ground running for their team in Birmingham.

Duties for the role of Principal Designer include:

• Help deliver technical projects from planning stages through to new build delivery
• Implement the requirements of Building safety Act 2022 and Secondary Legislations 2023
• Lead the design team and other project team members, as well liaising with clients
• Carry out site visits and ensure projects comply with regulations and high ethical standards are achieved

Skills and experience for the role of Principal Designer include:

• Relevant degree within construction
• Strong experience delivering health and safety and CDM services
• MCIOB or MCIAT registered
• A relevant health and safety professional qualification
• NEBOSH General or Construction certificate
• Excellent knowledge of CDM regulations
• Experienced with Microsoft Office
• Previous experience within a consultancy role
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
