Project Architect

Location: Birmingham

Salary: 44,000 - 48,000

An established and highly regarded UK architectural practice is seeking a talented Project Architect to join its Birmingham studio. Renowned for delivering high-quality work across urban design, interiors, and masterplanning, the studio has a diverse portfolio spanning the residential, healthcare, and education sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Architect to take a leading role in the delivery of major healthcare projects, from early concept through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of healthcare projects across all RIBA stages
  • Drive concept design, planning applications, and detailed technical design
  • Provide strong design and technical leadership, ensuring quality, compliance, and innovation
  • Undertake site visits and manage construction-stage coordination
  • Liaise closely with clients, consultants, and internal project teams
  • Support and mentor junior team members within a collaborative studio environment


Skills & Experience

  • ARB-registered Architect
  • Significant post-qualification experience within a UK architectural practice
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver projects autonomously
  • Strong working knowledge of all RIBA stages
  • High level of proficiency in Revit
  • Previous healthcare project experience highly advantageous
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Based within commuting distance of Birmingham
