Reed Further Education are seeking a dedicated and experienced Coach Driver for a further education college in Birmingham. This temporary position involves transporting students and staff for school trips, events and daily activities.
Job Title: Coach Driver
Location: Longbridge, Birmingham
Position: Temporary Ongoing until end of academic year, full-time hours.
Pay: £15p/h to £16p/h including holiday pay
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport students to and from trips, events and daily activities.
- Perform daily vehicle safety checks.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and drivers' hours rules and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with students and staff members.
Requirements:
- Must hold a Category D license and a Driver CPC.
- At least 5 years of experience driving PSV vehicles.
- No points on the license.
- Must have a digital tachograph card.
- Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
- Competent in completing vehicle safety checks.
- Copy of enhanced DBS on update service or willingness to apply for one.
