Join the UK's leading and largest firm of Patent and Trade Mark attorneys as a Real Estate and Facilities Manager. This role is crucial in ensuring that their property within Birmingham is fit for purpose, cost-effective, and provides an optimal work environment.

Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Maintain accurate records of all documentation related to the firm’s property portfolio.
  • Ensure timely and correct payments of rent, service charges, and business rates.
  • Regularly liaise with service charge advisors to ensure value for money from landlords and their agents.
  • Handle rent reviews to secure the best possible terms and monitor business rates, challenging them when appropriate.
  • Communicate regularly with local office management to ensure office spaces are fit for purpose and discuss potential improvements.
  • Manage all lease-related events, including notifications to relevant teams.
  • Oversee the firm’s archival storage and act as the main contact for all property-related legal matters.

The successful candidate:

  • Proven property management and facilities experience, preferably in a professional services environment.
  • Knowledge of Lease changes
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Desirable: IOSH Managing Safely training.
  • Basic first aid knowledge.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and prioritisation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage workload independently
