Salary: £38,000 £40,000 per year
Bonus: £6,000 annual performance bonus
Plus: Share of tips

Contracted hours 48 but lets be honest as a driven Head Chef youll do a few more but nothing crazy; gone are the days of 55 hours plus.


As Head Chef, youll be the driving force behind the kitchen bringing bold flavours to life and leading a talented team. You will:

  • Champion Authenticity Craft dishes inspired by Japanese cuisine, with a focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients and bold flavours.
  • Lead the Kitchen Recruit, train, and inspire your team to deliver consistently high standards, even in the busiest service.
  • Cook with Fire Showcase your wok skills and East Asian cooking techniques to produce vibrant, high-quality dishes at pace.
  • Manage Operations Write rotas to budget, maintain immaculate kitchen standards, and ensure food safety compliance.
  • Control Stock & Costs Order efficiently, monitor waste, and keep GP targets on track.
  • Collaborate with Front of House Work as one team to create a seamless, memorable experience for every guest.
