This position will require working in a variety of primary and secondary schools, in the Shirley Solihull area. Working as part of the catering team, you will be responsible for preparing well-balanced and appetising meals.
Chef / Cook Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook lunch for the students.
- Oversee food production and cooking
- Maintain a clean and organisedkitchen, adhering to all safety and hygiene regulations.
- Order and manage food supplies to ensure the availability of fresh and high-quality ingredients.
- Adapt menus to accommodate special dietary needs and allergies.
- Monitor food quality, portion control, and minimisewaste.
- Ensure proper maintenance of kitchen equipment and report any issues for repair.
- Comply with health and safety regulations and food handling standards.
Cook Qualifications:
- GNVQ / NVQ LEVEL 2/3
- Food Hygiene & Food Allergen
- Enh DBS Certificate ( we can process for you))
