Job Title: Commercial Gas Engineer
Van + Fuel Card + Overtime + On-Call Allowance
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (on-call rota required)

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a skilled and reliable Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team based in the Birminghamarea.

As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, repair, and installation of commercial gas systems and appliances in a range of premises including schools, offices, retail outlets, healthcare facilities, and industrial sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial gas heating systems.

• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on boilers, heaters, and related equipment.

• Complete new installation projects, including pipework and plant room setups.

• Ensure all work complies with current regulations and safety standards.

• Complete job reports, risk assessments, and compliance documentation accurately and on time.

• Liaise with clients and site contacts in a professional manner.

• Participate in a standby/on-call rota as required.

Essential Requirements:

• ACS Commercial Gas qualifications: COCN1 or CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, CDGA1, TPCP1/1A.

• Proven experience in commercial gas engineering (minimum 3 years).

• Full UK driving licence.

• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

• Good understanding of health & safety regulations.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
