We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Area Sales Manager to cover a defined territory within the forklift and materials handling industry. You will be responsible for generating new business, building long-term customer relationships, and promoting a full range of forklift trucks, warehouse equipment, and related solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and win new business opportunities across your region
- Manage and develop existing customer accounts, ensuring repeat business and long-term partnerships
- Promote a wide range of forklifts, warehouse trucks, and tailored handling solutions
- Carry out site visits, equipment demonstrations, and negotiate commercial terms with decision-makers
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline, delivering accurate forecasts and reporting to management
- Work closely with internal support teams to ensure customer requirements are met effectively
About You
- Proven track record in B2B sales within forklift trucks, materials handling, plant hire, or capital equipment
- Strong business development background with a consultative, solution-led sales approach
- Ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Target-driven, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in the field
- Full UK driving licence is essential
