We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Area Sales Manager to drive growth across an assigned territory. The role includes managing both existing customers and new business opportunities, delivering a sales target of 1m per annum. Ideal candidates will have a consultative sales approach, technical knowledge in Steam, Hot Water, and Building Services, and experience with M&E turnkey packages. Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement strategies to achieve growth targets; identify market trends, competitors, and new business opportunities; manage budgets and forecasts.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts; act as point of escalation for complex issues; collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer experience.

  • Team Collaboration: Foster a positive, high-performing team environment; share opportunities and insights with colleagues.

  • Reporting & Administration: Maintain accurate CRM records, track sales performance, and ensure compliance with company policies.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Proven sales track record with a consultative approach.

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.

  • Strategic thinking and commercial acumen.

  • Excellent negotiation, closing, and presentation skills.

  • Technical aptitude in relevant products/solutions.

  • Proficient in CRM systems; strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Full UK driving license.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven territory sales experience in a technical or industrial sector.

  • Experience selling technical products or solutions, ideally in Steam, Condensate, Hot Water, or Building Services.
