## OverviewWe are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire and security systems, with a focus on new business sales. This role will involve promoting and selling CCTV, access control, intruder, and life safety systems, with a balance of 80% maintenance contracts and 20% projects.

## Responsibilities- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the fire and security sector- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients- Lead the sales process from prospecting to closing deals- Collaborate with the technical team to ensure the successful delivery of projects- Act as a subject matter expert, providing advice and solutions to clients- Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs- Keep abreast of industry trends, competitors, and market conditions

## Qualifications- Proven experience in business development within the fire and security industry- Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, intruder, and life safety systems- Demonstrated success in new business sales and account management- Excellent communication and negotiation skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- A proactive and results-oriented mindset- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards is a plus

## Day-to-day- Researching and identifying potential clients and opportunities- Building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders- Conducting sales presentations and product demonstrations- Collaborating with the technical team to design and propose solutions- Developing tailored proposals and quotations- Tracking sales activities and maintaining accurate records- Attending industry events and networking opportunities
