This pivotal role will oversee marketing across a group of B2B companies with multiple branches throughout the Midlands. A pioneer in its sector, the group has grown steadily over the years, acquiring businesses, building new brands, and expanding into new markets along the way! Head Of Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative and effective marketing strategies for each company, ensuring the strategy is aligned with each brand and its objectives
  • Create multiple marketing plans for the group and individual projects, ensuring each plan meets budgets and group KPIs
  • Act as the marketing voice and expert for the group, working closely with directors and stakeholders to understand business goals and align marketing efforts
  • Oversee all digital marketing activity, which includes content, email, social media, SEO, PPC and website management
  • Lead all marketing activity, ensuring all campaigns, promotions, and initiatives are executed and implemented as agreed and to a high standard
  • Build and maintain solid working relationships across departments, including sales, operations, technical, and product development teams, to support the development of tailored marketing strategies and plans
  • Oversee the development of all marketing assets, both digital and print, ensuring all are in line with brand guidelines and group goals
  • Undertake research on the market and competitors to improve performance and identify opportunities
  • Use analytical tools to measure the success of campaigns and strategies, using your findings to adapt and improve
  • Lead and develop a skilled marketing team, sharing your knowledge and guidance, and promoting a culture of high performance and collaboration
  • Regularly liaise with the senior leadership team to inform them of all market activity, performance, and results

Head Of Marketing Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrates exceptional marketing skills and knowledge, perfected over the years, and is already operating at Marketing Manager/Marketing Director/Head of Marketing level
  • A degree in marketing, pr, advertising, or business would be an advantage, but not essential
  • Experience within B2B marketing is essential, and it would be a bonus if this experience was gained in either a manufacturing, distribution, industrial or engineering sector
  • Proven track record of developing detailed online and offline marketing plans, strategies, and campaigns
  • Skilled in all areas of marketing, including digital marketing, product marketing, and brand management
  • Knowledge of SEO and Paid Search
  • Confident working across a group of companies and experience working with international markets would be beneficial
  • A 'big picture' thinker, who understands the importance of marketing and the impact it has on a business
  • Analytically-minded, able to transform data into actionable insights
