Description

  • Develop and execute a strategic business plan to expand sales within the Asia Pacific region.
  • Identify new market opportunities and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Lead contract negotiations and ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align regional goals with company objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and reports for senior management.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team in the Asia Pacific region.
  • Ensure revenue targets are met or exceeded in line with company expectations.

Profile

A successful International Business Developer should have:

  • Proven experience in the FMCG industry, we ideally need candidates from personal care, cosmetics or the OTC channel.
  • Strong knowledge of the Asia Pacific markets and customer behaviours.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-value accounts and build long-term partnerships.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • A results-driven approach with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in leading and motivating a team to achieve shared objectives.
  • The role is home based with a weekly requirement to be based in the HQ in the West Midlands.
