Position Overview:
They are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join the team based in Birmingham, Midlands. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building services, up-to-date qualifications, and the ability to lead and coordinate electrical projects effectively.
Responsibilities:
Supervision and Coordination:
- Oversee electrical installation projects from 'cradle to grave', ensuring compliance with specifications and regulations.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
Quality Assurance:
- Implement and maintain high-quality standards throughout the electrical installation process.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets company and industry standards.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate a team of electrical technicians and subcontractors.
- Provide guidance and support to ensure the team's performance meets project objectives.
Safety Compliance:
- Enforce strict adherence to health and safety protocols on-site.
- Conduct safety briefings and monitor compliance to minimize risks.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate project records, including daily reports and progress documentation.
- Report project status to project managers and senior management as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
Electrical Qualifications: Possess relevant electrical qualifications and certifications.
Building Services Experience: Demonstrated experience in electrical supervision within the building services sector.
Project Management Skills: Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively to meet project deadlines.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Regulatory Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of electrical regulations and industry standards.
