Junior CAD Technician - Position Remuneration
- Base salary: 22,000-26,000 per year, depending on experience
- Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Holidays: Standard company holiday allowance plus bank holidays
- Training & development: Ongoing training to develop CAD, technical, and industry-specific skills, with exposure to live demolition and construction projects and a clear progression pathway into more senior CAD, technical, or estimating support roles

Junior CAD Technician - Position Overview
- Assist in the preparation and updating of CAD drawings for demolition and enabling works projects
- Produce site layout plans, demolition sequences, and temporary works drawings under supervision
- Support the pre-construction and estimating teams with technical drawings for tenders and bids
- Amend drawings based on site surveys, engineer input, and project requirements
- Work closely with project managers, estimators, and site teams to ensure drawings are accurate and buildable
- Maintain organised drawing registers and document control systems
- Develop technical, CAD, and industry knowledge through ongoing training and exposure to live demolition and construction projects
Junior CAD Technician - Position Requirements
- Working knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD or similar), gained through education, training, or early work experience
- Qualification or current study in CAD, Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline (desirable but not essential)
- Good attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- understanding of technical drawings (training will be provided)
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage simple tasks and deadlines
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a proactive approach to development
