Your new companyYou will be joining an established multi-utility contractor based in Birmingham. This multi-accredited main contractor specialises in delivering infrastructure solutions across the water, gas and power sectors, and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. With an ongoing series of contracts as well as a major framework win, they are looking to onboard a Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of multi-utility schemes in the Birmingham area.

This is a full-time permanent position based in their Birmingham office with site travel as and when required.

Your new roleAs Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing all aspects of project delivery from inception through to completion and handover
  • Creating and maintaining project programmes as well as producing forecasts and procurement schedules
  • Monitoring and reviewing financial and delivery performance
  • Coordinating with subcontractors and the client regarding health and safety inspections and audits
  • Liaising with delivery teams and coordinating site activities to ensure project programmes are maintained
  • Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to specified quality.

What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you must have:

  • Proven successful experience overseeing the delivery of multi-utility and/or EV schemes from inception through to completion, including associated civil works
  • Understanding of NEC contracts, CDM regulations and health and safety
  • Sound leadership and people management skills
  • Full UK driving licence.
