A fantastic, forward thinking and innovative business based in Birmingham City Centre are currently seeking a full time, permanent (hybrid) Project Manager to join their growing business. Working within the built environment the successful candidate with support a Senior Programme Manager with a client facing Project manager role. Taking the lead on high value and high profile projects within the built environment/planning or engineering sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with their PRINCE2 qualification and solid experience within a Project Assistant (or similar) role within the built environment. This role is working 2 days in their city centre office and 3 days WFH with some national travel to visit clients and sites required.

• To ensure that all projects are operated to the highest levels of quality & compliance in line with standards

• To manage, monitor, report on and accurately forecast the financial success of the project

• To take primary responsibility for developing and agreeing detailed project execution plans

• Continuous production of all project documentation at project inception, Project Plan, Project Specification/Project Initiation Document as required.

• Managing client relationships through the project life cycle to manage client expectations

• Budget management

The successful candidate MUST have solid Project Management experience within a similar industry alongside the ability to build key relationships, overcome objections and manage expectations. You must have good communication skills, solid financial management experience and experience with monitoring and controlling project budgets for large scale events. Ideally you will have a good knowledge of land law and estate management.
