PSR Solutions are working with a market leading client within the Demolition Sector to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor to Join their Health & Safety team on a permanent basis. This role with be based in the West Midlands and will involve working within Demolition and Remediation Projects.
Health & Safety Advisor Roles and Responsibilities
- Championing a positive safety culture by leading by example on-site.
- Advising Directors and Managers on health, safety, and welfare compliance.
- Conducting audits, site inspections, and accident investigations.
- Developing and implementing project-specific safety plans in collaboration with site teams.
- Producing risk assessments and ensuring safe working methods are followed.
- Engaging with clients and stakeholders as the key point of contact for H&S.
- Reporting and acting on near-misses and RIDDOR incidents.
- Promoting our Behavioural Safety Program across all levels of the business.
Health & Safety Advisor Requirements
- NVQ 6 in Occupational Health and Safety or NEBOSH Diploma
- Experience working within Demolition, Civil Engineering or construction is Essential (Preferably Demolition Experience)
- Good Communication skill with Operatives and clients
- CMIOSH or working towards
- Strong working knowledge of H&S legislation and its practical application on-site.
- Safety behaviour training/Mental health awareness
- UK driving licence
