Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team in Coventry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for painting, decorating, and general maintenance tasks to ensure our facilities are well-maintained and visually appealing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform painting and decorating tasks, including surface preparation, application of paint, and finishing.
- Conduct general maintenance and repair work, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and other related tasks.
- Inspect and troubleshoot issues in buildings and facilities to determine necessary repairs.
- Maintain and update maintenance records and reports.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to complete projects efficiently.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in painting, decorating, and general maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in maintenance or related fields are a plus.
