Your Day-to-Day:
As a Contracts Manager, you'll be instrumental in the successful delivery of a range of flooring projects across the West Midlands, ensuring timely completion, adherence to budgets, and the highest standards of quality. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing Local Projects: Taking ownership of all project phases within the West Midlands region.
- Handling Contracts Efficiently: Administering contracts and ensuring compliance.
- Connecting with Local Clients: Building and maintaining strong, positive client relationships.
- Guiding Regional Teams: Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Keeping Projects on Track Financially: Monitoring costs and ensuring budget adherence.
- Prioritizing Local Safety: Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with regulations.
What We're Looking For in You:
- Flooring Expertise: Ideally, you'll bring proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the flooring industry.
- OR Transferable Project Skills: We also welcome applications from experienced Contracts Managers in other construction fields who have a strong history of successful project delivery (on time and within budget) and a genuine interest in learning and growing within the flooring sector.
- Strong Organizational Abilities: Excellent project management and organizational skills are crucial.
- Clear Communication: Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this client-facing role.
- Financial Awareness: A good understanding of contract administration and cost management.
- Commitment to Excellence: A dedication to delivering high-quality work and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Driving License: A valid driving license for local travel.
- Team Spirit: The ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
