We’ve been engaged by a fast-growing and highly respected global technology consultancy to support the appointment of a Senior Sales Leader with deep experience in the Defence and wider Government or Security markets.
This is a high-impact Senior Sales Leader role for someone who can draw on extensive experience navigating complex defence and public sector landscapes. You'll be responsible for identifying and capitalising on growth opportunities within key defence, security, and public sector verticals, delivering tailored cloud and digital transformation solutions to mission-critical challenges.
Working at the forefront of strategic cloud adoption, the successful candidate will bridge the gap between client needs and the consultancy’s advanced technical capabilities. The appointed Senior Sales Leader will partner closely with technical and delivery teams to design compelling, secure, and scalable IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions aligned with MOD, defence prime, and national security customer demands.
Key Responsibilities• Lead high-level, solution-based sales across the Defence and Security sectors• Translate operational defence requirements into value-driven cloud solutions• Engage and influence senior stakeholders, including at MOD and defence primes• Provide commercial and strategic leadership during a major phase of expansion• Build lasting relationships across the military and government ecosystem• Collaborate with technical leaders to shape bid strategies and long-term roadmaps• Mentor and develop a growing sales and business development team
Core Skills & Experience Required• Proven success selling Cloud strategies and solutions into the Defence/Government market• Deep understanding of procurement frameworks (e.g., CCS, DSP, G-Cloud, DASA, etc.)• Strong track record engaging C-Suite, programme directors, and senior MOD personnel• Experience leading or supporting bids within secure, classified or regulated environments• Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships across multi-layered organisations• Cloud expertise across IaaS, PaaS & SaaS - ideally AWS, Azure or hybrid• Background with SIs, service providers, or vendors with strong Defence sector presence

This hybrid role offers flexibility with and an office presence in London or the Midlands. In return, the successful Senior Sales Leader will receive a highly competitive salary of up to ÂŁ140,000 plus industry aligned commission and an excellent benefits package.
