Sonic Summary

We are seeking a Mechanical Craftsperson to perform maintenance at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham (Selly Oak).
The position requires a pay rate of £16.38 to £19.30 per hour and involves working Monday to Friday between 7am and 7pm.
Key responsibilities include delivering planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across various systems, ensuring compliance with HTM standards and health and safety regulations.
Candidates should have City & Guilds mechanical qualifications, a mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent training, and experience in healthcare or critical environments is preferred.
A strong understanding of building services mechanical systems is essential for this role.

Mechanical Craftsperson - Birmingham (Selly Oak)

We are recruiting a Mechanical Craftsperson to carry out maintenance across the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) estate.

Working Hours:

Monday - Friday, between 7am - 7pm (Shift patterns: 8am-4pm or 11am-7pm)

Pay Rate: 16.38 - 19.30

Location:
Mainly Acute Hospital, with some work across Mental Health and Retained Estate sites.

Key Duties:

Deliver planned and reactive mechanical maintenance
Work across mechanical systems including AHUs, FCUs, boilers, calorifiers and plant equipment
Ensure compliance with HTM standards, H&S and Equans KPIs
Complete jobs and update records using CAFM/Maximo systems
Support site operations and respond to maintenance issues as required
