This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting pupils with a range of complex learning needs, including Autism, communication difficulties, and additional learning needs.As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping pupils access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential. Working alongside experienced teachers and specialist staff, you will provide tailored support, both in the classroom and during wider school activities, ensuring pupils feel valued and supported every day.Responsibilities include:
  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis to access learning
  • Assisting teachers in planning and delivering engaging, differentiated activities
  • Helping pupils develop social, communication, and emotional regulation skills
  • Providing personal care support when required
  • Promoting independence and confidence in all aspects of school life
  • Building strong, positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
The ideal candidate will have:
