This role is perfect for a Teaching Assistant who is committed to making a real difference for pupils with special educational needs, including Autism, communication difficulties, and complex learning needs.As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils across the school. You will work closely with teachers, specialist staff, and other Teaching Assistants to deliver high-quality support that helps children achieve both academically and personally. This is an opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who thrives on building strong relationships and creating a positive, nurturing learning environment.Responsibilities include:

Working as a Teaching Assistant to support pupils 1:1 and in small groups
Assisting teachers with planning and delivering creative, differentiated lessons
Supporting pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and social development
Helping to promote confidence and independence in all aspects of learning
Collaborating with the class teacher and other Teaching Assistants to ensure consistency of support
Contributing to the wider school community as a valued Teaching Assistant

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally in a SEND or primary setting
A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team of Teaching Assistants
A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach when working with pupils with SEND
A genuine passion for supporting children as a Teaching Assistant
