Temporary Works Lead - Major Infrastructure Project

We're looking for an experienced Temporary Works Lead to join a major UK infrastructure project with a leading Tier 1 contractor. This permanent role offers the chance to take ownership of all Temporary Works design, compliance, and coordination activities on one of the country's most exciting engineering schemes.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate all Temporary Works activities on site

  • Ensure compliance with BS5975 and relevant client procedures

  • Manage design briefs, checks, and approvals

  • Oversee safe implementation, inspection, and dismantling of Temporary Works

  • Maintain documentation and assurance standards

About You:

  • Proven experience in a Temporary Works or senior engineering role

  • Strong working knowledge of BS5975 and construction safety standards

  • Degree or HNC/HND in Civil or Structural Engineering

  • Ideally Chartered (CEng) or working towards

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
