Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Complex Issues: Take the lead in resolving intricate employee relations matters, handling large volumes of casework with ease.
  • Expert Guidance: Provide valuable advice and support to both managers and employees on a wide range of employee relations topics.
  • Investigate Thoroughly: Conduct comprehensive investigations to ensure adherence to company policies and employment legislation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with stakeholders at all levels to facilitate effective communication.
  • Strategic Development: Create and implement employee relations strategies that align with business goals.
  • Trend Analysis: Monitor and assess employee relations trends to pinpoint opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Ideally CIPD Qualified or equivalent Qualification
  • Proven experience in an employee relations role, ideally within a fast-paced setting.
  • Background in manufacturing, transport & logistics, or engineering sectors is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple cases and priorities seamlessly.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities.
  • Experience with trade unions is essential.
  • Capability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
