Technical Support Engineer
Birmingham
GBP30,000 - GBP32,000
Deliver comprehensive pre- and post-sales technical support for the Company's system-related products and wiring accessories. This includes providing expert advice on product selection and system design, tailored to specific applications and project requirements. This role is based on progression, therefore huge opportunities are available to grow within the company.
Additionally, this is a full-time, permanent position with hours of Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm. Furthermore, this role would suit someone with great customer service experience.
Duties involved, but not limited to:
Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Door Entry Systems and their applications, establishing expertise in the product line.
Stay proactive in keeping abreast of new products, firmware updates, and application developments.
Offer technical support via telephone and email to installers, contractors, and end-users, enabling clients to diagnose and resolve issues independently, minimizing the need for on-site visits.
Provide detailed guidance on replacement parts and system upgrades.
Utilize in-house software tools to deliver product-based design solutions and generate system quotations.
Interpret and understand technical drawings to prepare project quotations and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of technical information and customer interactions.
