Senior Corporate Property Underwriter – UK and International BusinessWe are seeking a Senior Corporate Property Underwriter to join a respected international insurance group, with a focus on UK and international business. This role offers the opportunity to work across both direct and reinsurance accounts, handling complex corporate property risks with a strong emphasis on technical accuracy and commercial results.You will underwrite and price mid-size to large corporate property accounts, assess risk, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance with underwriting standards and regulatory requirements. As a key point of contact for brokers, clients, cedants, and reinsurers, you will play a vital role in managing and developing strong, long-term relationships.In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will support the Head of Line of Business, help guide junior underwriters, and ensure high standards in data accuracy, portfolio analysis, and documentation. You will also contribute to business strategy, monitor market trends, and collaborate on reinsurance placements and treaty arrangements.We are looking for candidates with proven corporate property underwriting experience, ideally at the mid-market level or above. Strong technical expertise across risk assessment, policy terms, pricing, and claims handling is essential, along with sound commercial judgment. You should be proactive, well-organised, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
