The Company
Seymour John are pleased to be working in partnership with an exciting and well-established business in Birmingham, who have seen strong growth in recent years and are now looking to strengthen their finance team with the appointment of an Accounts Manager.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Financial Controller, your duties will include:
- Responding to supplier queries and resolving issues in a timely and effective manner
- Processing monthly statement reconciliations
- Providing support for Payroll and Credit Control functions as needed
- Assisting with month-end processes and reporting tasks
- Preparing and maintaining Purchase Ledger reserves
- Entering and reconciling transactions within the cash book
- Offering general administrative and operational support to the wider finance team
Personal Profile
We’re looking to speak with individuals who have proven experience in a similar finance role, along with a strong work ethic and the ability to adapt quickly to a new environment. You will be joining a friendly and supportive finance team that has built a positive, enjoyable working atmosphere. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team where your skills and expertise will make a real impact. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:30, but we’re open to a discussion on this, if you require a slight adjustment to these hours.
