Henderson Scott finance and accounting have partnered with an organisation in Birmingham to recruit a qualified Finance Business Partner. Reporting to the FD, this role will play an instrumental part in growth strategies, identifying new processes and being the link between departments and stakeholders.

- Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Prepare, analyse, and present accurate financial reports to support business decision-making.
- Provide insights on financial performance, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Collaborate with operational teams to ensure financial targets are realistic and achievable.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with department heads and business units to understand their financial needs and challenges.
- Variance Analysis
- Investigate and explain variances between actual results and budget/forecast, providing actionable recommendations.
- Cost Control and Efficiency
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.
- Monitor financial controls and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support finance system upgrades and improvements to enhance data accuracy and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Fully qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and business finance.
- Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
Salary:
- £45,000 - £48,000 plus excellent company benefits
