We are delighted to be recruiting a Head of Treasury for a growing and ambitious organisation based in Birmingham.

This is a critical role with full responsibility for managing the Group's cash, liquidity, funding, and financial risk management strategies. You will work closely with the CFO and wider leadership team to ensure robust treasury operations, strong controls, and effective funding structures to support the company's growth plans.

Key Responsibilities

The key duties for this Head of Treasury role are:

  • Lead all treasury operations, including cash management, liquidity forecasting, and working capital optimisation.

  • Develop and execute short-term and long-term funding strategies.

  • Manage banking relationships, facilities, covenants, and debt compliance.

  • Oversee daily cash positioning, intercompany lending, and payment processes.

  • Monitor and mitigate financial risks including FX, interest rates, and credit exposure.

  • Drive continuous improvement in treasury processes, policies, and systems.

  • Produce regular treasury reporting and analysis for the executive team and board.

  • Support strategic projects including M&A activity, refinancing, and investment appraisals.

Key Requirements

To be succesful in this Head of Treasury role:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or ACT qualified.

  • Proven experience in a senior treasury role within a complex business.

  • Strong technical knowledge of treasury operations, funding, and financial risk management.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships.

  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and commercially astute.

  • Degree in accountancy, economics, business.
